If you imagine Bruce Weber and Terry Richardson publishing a magazine packed with Bel Ami models you have an idea of Pantelis’ work. Always striking, stylish and most definitely sexy, he photographs for other magazines like Attitude and is also Editor-in-Chief of his own publication - Coitus.
How did you get into photography?
I was never one of those people who had a camera from a very young age. In fact I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life! I finished school and then had to join the army back home in Cyprus for two years - so that meant I didn’t have to make any rushed decisions.
Some of my friends who were studying graphics said I would enjoy it and that’s how I discovered photography. At first I was shooting simple things for my graphics projects, but one term we were given a free project and I decided to do a fashion shoot. I loved the results so much that I’ve never looked back since.
